1990s: Furthers education, his name and his company.
- 1991: Honored as Entrepreneur of the Year in Colorado.
- 1991: Receives the Colorado Ethics in Business Award.
- 1991: Becomes one of the first inductees into the "Broadcasting Hall of Fame" for his visionary contributions to the Fifth Estate.
- 1992: Receives a special Emmy Award for development of television and his humanitarian work from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
- 1994: University of Denver renames its business school as "The Daniels College of Business."
- 1994: Sells Prime Ticket Network and shares millions of proceeds with the Prime Ticket employees.
- 1995: Donates an additional $11 million to the Daniels College of Business for the construction of new facilities.
- 1996: Sponsors a flight that sets a new world record for business jet speed around the globe.
- 1996: Inducted into the Colorado Business Hall of Fame.
- 1997: Launches America Presents to promote pro boxing.
- 1998: Donates his residence to City of Denver as nation's 4th Mayoral Residence.
- 2000: Passes away on March 7. He was 79.

Bill Daniels sponsored a flight team that piloted his Learjet 35-A "Cablevision Tool" to a new world speed record for business jets, flying around the globe in 1996.
