Carlyle Group Acquires Interest in Completel and Numericable
The Carlyle Group has acquired a 37.8% stake in French local fiber and DSL network provider, Completel Europe and leading French cable and
broadband operator, Numericable from Altice and Cinven for approximately US$1,700,000,000. RBC Daniels acted as co-lead financial advisor
along with Goldman Sachs to Carlyle.
Altice and Cinven Acquire Liberty's French Cable Business
RBC Daniels advised Altice and Cinven in the acquisition of UPC France from Liberty Global for €1.25 billion. The acquisition represents 1.97 million RGUs including 1.5 million video customers.
